Trump Series: Part III: Has the Nebuchadnezzar Process Begun?

NEW DEVELOPMENTS FROM MY MARCH 18th, 2016 POST ON TRUMP AS A NEBUCHADNEZZAR FIGURE

On March 18 of this year, I published a blog post based on a dream the Lord gave me about a candidate I had been publicly against. He was the one on the republican side I thought was THE MOST OBJECTIONABLE. But, God stopped me in my tracks with His views and what He said would occur with this particular individual. Of course, I am referring to the republican nominee, Donald J. Trump. In that post, see it here, I shared the dream which characterized Mr. Trump as a Nebuchadnezzar-like character.

The Lord was showing me that he would have a change of heart. I said this because the person I saw in, what I believe was the oval office in the White House, was about to have a meeting, standing up in a kind of huddle because the situation these leaders faced was so grave, the presidential figure said, "First, let's hear what the Lord has to say [about it.]" This lead me to realize that Mr. Trump would have a Nebuchadnezzar experience of conversion.

TROUBLE IN TRUMP'S "KINGDOM"

By now everyone has heard of the sickening comments Donald Trump made 11 years ago and comments about his daughter the following year. I get it! They are sick and from those comments the man's morals has been a significant problem. I am hoping that his campaign had anticipated this kind of discovery from his past. You don't become a celebrity who essentially says whatever you want and not have it come back to bite you when you seek public office. In a way, that's pretty brave or pretty stupid.

All of that being said, is it possible that his last exposure about Mr. Trump be the beginning of the process of conversion for Babylonian King Nebuchadnezzar?

I believe we are seeing exactly that play out in Mr. Trump's life. Here are the similarities as I continue down that road.

REMINDER OF KING NEBUCHADNEZZAR'S LIFE AND SIMILARITIES TO TRUMP'S

Remember, the very words of King Nebuchadnezzar's mouth were both his downfall and his redemption. By his mouth he spewed his disgustingly prideful word that offended God causing Him to instantly judge him so that he became a reproach and an embarrassment to his very kingdom. Does that sound similar to current developments in Mr. Trump's life?

The Bible tells us that king Nebuchadnezzar became like an animal. He was driven from his palace and for 7 years he lived in the wilderness like an animal, hair and nails grown out, most likely unrecognizable as a human being much less a king arrayed in all his royal splendor. With his pride, you would imagine that he would dress to the nines to show off his wealth. And he had much to be proud about considering the time when he would controlled most of the known world as God gave him conquest after conquest. And the way the Babylonians dealt with conquered people was to take the best and brightest, the nobility to work in the service of the king. That was a winning strategy for a while. But then God had had enough because Neb did not realize the God was the Source of all of his conquests. He needed a little reminder.

BIBLICAL TEXT EXCERPTED FROM THE March 18 2016 post:

25.They shall drive you from men, your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field, and they shall make you eat grass like oxen. They shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, till you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.

26“And inasmuch as they gave the command to leave the stump and roots of the tree, your kingdom shall be assured to you, after you come to know that Heaven rules. ²⁷ Therefore, O king, let my advice be acceptable to you; break off your sins by being righteous, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor. Perhaps there may be a lengthening of your prosperity.”

Nebuchadnezzar’s Humiliation

28All this came upon King Nebuchadnezzar. ²⁹ At the end of the twelve months he was walking about the royal palace of Babylon. ³⁰ The king spoke, saying, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for a royal dwelling by my mighty power and for the honor of my majesty?”

31While the word was still in the king’s mouth, a voice fell from heaven: “King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: the kingdom has departed from you! ³² And they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with the beasts of the field. They shall make you eat grass like oxen; and seven times shall pass over you, until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever He chooses.”

33That very hour the word was fulfilled concerning Nebuchadnezzar; he was driven from men and ate grass like oxen; his body was wet with the dew of heaven till his hair had grown like eagles’ feathers and his nails like birds’ claws.

Nebuchadnezzar Praises God

34 And at the end of the time. I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation.³⁵ All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing;
He does according to His will in the army of heaven
And among the inhabitants of the earth.
No one can restrain His hand
Or say to Him, “What have You done?”

36At the same time my reason returned to me, and for the glory of my kingdom, my honor and splendor returned to me. My counselors and nobles resorted to me, I was restored to my kingdom, and excellent majesty was added to me. ³⁷ Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.

DONALD TRUMP'S NEBUCHADNEZZAR PROCESS

I believe we are seeing Mr.Trump's Nebuchadnezzar process begin in front of all of the world. Mr. Trumps own word's uttered to Access Hollywood's Billy Bush on that hot mike in 2005 video on are the very words that have threatened his downfall. We have been told that there is much more "evidence' of his unfitness to be president in his past behavior. No one doubts that Donald Trump has been an arrogant, proud braggadocio. The fact that his mouth has gotten him into this trouble, with apparently more to come, should come as no surprise. But what I do not know if whether we are ready for the transformation. Will we even believe that a man can change that drastically? Well that depends on whether Mr. Trump truly changes in a way that convinces the American public to the point of electing him president. There is not much time left, but consider this; Nebuchadnezzar's words, in God's eyes, were no less offensive than Mr. Trump's. To us, Mr. Trumps word's were more reprehensible, but to God proud words are proud word. Sin is sin, and He chooses to show mercy where He chooses to show it.

THE NITTY GRITTY

Who are we to object if God decides to make him president. As I said so often, he was not my choice but God has decided. Right now, it would take a miracle for him to win. So?

And lest you think I am just pro-Trump, in a perfect world, I would not even consider voting for such a person. But as a God-fearing woman of God who has watched the policies of this current administration; seen and heard the type of person Hillary Clinton is; and the policies she champions, I cannot bring myself to vote for her. The Holy Spirit, my conscience, and common sense would not allow me. The choice is a very difficult one, but not that difficult that I would be puzzled which one of these two people to vote for.

Which one of us, has not done and/or said reprehensible things? We are all guilty. Where are the high morals of a Godless administration, when they instituted an anomaly like gay marriage? Where were the high morals when they try to block anyone trying to pray in school? Where are the high morals while slaughtering late term babies? Where are they when people are being slaughtered by jihadists? You mean the biggest problem this country has is the words of a sinful philanderer. These are clearly diversionary tactics.

If Donald Trump has asked God for forgiveness and has been forgiven, end of story. Time will tell whether he was sincere. Like Nebuchadnezzar, he has a choice in allowing God to break him so that he could walk into his destiny as a "king," a rich and powerful man ruling a financial "empire" man, who finally saw the Light and looked up to God as his Master. The Bible says, it is practically impossible for a rich man to come into the Kingdom, but not too difficult for God.

Luke 18: 24-27

24 And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, “How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God!

²⁵ For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” ²⁶ And those who heard it said, “Who then can be saved?”

27 But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.”

CONCLUSION

Here is the bottom line. One of these people has been tried in the role of a public servant - only one. I don't know about you, but I believe Hillary Clinton, who has had all the chances in the world to be a shining example of strength and leadership, has failed miserably and for some reason just glosses over those failures and expects the highest office in the land. Notice I have not mentioned the pathological lying among other things. Sorry, her being a woman is but a superficial reason to vote for her. For me, it would be the same if she were a black woman. Color does not matter; it's the world view, ideology, and, consequently, their policy direction that must line up for someone to get my vote. 

Hillary's record should be enough to sink her chances at the presidency. There is just too much corruption attached to her and please don't try to tell me that it's all made up. Right now, we have nothing to lose by electing an untried person God has chosen because the ones who have been tried, have failed - miserably.

In the end, we all have to make a choice, but I would once again, entreat everyone who has the right to vote in the upcoming U.S. elections, vote your conscience, and by that I mean, know the direction that each party intends to take the country, and by extension, the world, based on the party's platform, and from its policies.  See the Democratic Party platform and the Republican Party platform . They may not be the most exciting reads but so worth it to help you in making an informed decision in casting your vote.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, LET"S BE PRAYING FOR THIS COUNTRY IN LIGHT OF WHAT IS ABOUT TO TAKE PLACE AND BIND ALL ATTEMPTS AT FRAUD NO MATTER WHAT FORMS IT TAKES AND WHO IS ATTEMPTING TO DEFRAUD THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

LORD HAVE MERCY UPON THIS LAND, THIS PEOPLE, AND ESPECIALLY THIS LEADERSHIP, AND THESE CANDIDATES AND THEIR TEAMS. SAFETY, LORD. GRACE AND MERCY, WE PRAY. LORD, LET THE NEXT AND FINAL DEBATE BE ONE ON THE ISSUES AND NOT FOR OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL ATTACKS. WE SPEAK PEACE OVER THIS GREAT NATION TO RISE AGAIN AND TAKE THE PLACE DESTINED FOR IT. YET, MY LORD, YOUR WILL BE DONE AND NOT OURS. AMEN AND AMEN.
